Term 4 Week 8 Reflection

This week was busy because we had the year 8 dinner and the committee for the year 8 dinner had to go to the Ngatea, Memorial Hall last night, which was Thursday night, for swimming at the moment we are just doing at least 4 races because of the 4 strokes we are doing, Dolphin dive, Freestyle, Backstroke and Breaststroke, then after those 4 races, we just had free swim and then have to hop out of the pool. Next week on Wednesday is our NPS School Prize giving and then on Thursday all the year 8's are going to Rainbows End in Auckland, then on Friday all the year 8's are having a water fight against the teachers and the water fight is on the last day of school. I can't wait for Rainbows End and the Water fight!!

Year 8 Dinner 2014

Last night was the year 8 dinner for all the year 8's that are leaving to high school next year, all my friends were there and my teachers and our principal was there too. Before the night we had to come up with a skit for what we want to be when we are older for a job, mine was being a policewoman and my script and storyboard got changed by Hamish our school's ICT computering man. I had lots of fun there and the theme was like a country glow thing, but originally the year 8 committee didn't have a theme so the year 8 committee just tossed some ideas around and just juggled them together to create a random theme!!! It was the BEST night EVER!!!!!

My Story, The New Town

I haven't finished this story yet but here is what I have so far!

I was packing my bags onto the helicopter as once again I was moving to a different town where the vampire killing wasn't happening and where our school had not been burnt down. I’m Max and I live with my mum and I used to live with my dad, but something bad happened to him. I’m moving to a town called Mexigoss, mum is working in a building there owned by Mr Wolff, He was the principal of the high school and  the tallest high rise building in the town. I heard that the last locker is for me and then now I have to go to this school and Mum has just lost my dad. My father has been killed because he was a vampire like me and he was murdered by a werewolf after having a fight with Mr Jones which was the werewolf but only my family and his wife knows and his daughter Charlie has just only found out after my dad was killed by Mr Jones.

I want to believe that Werewolves, Vampires and Witches aren’t real, but they are. I was a real life Vampire, my mum didn’t know until my old girlfriend Eve told her, so I dumped Eve, and now my mum knows and my life has changed!, So I had walked into the hallway and this crazy dude walks into me and has a big cyco at me for walking into him!

“Bro watch where you're walking” said Matt, the crazy cyco kid

“No you walked into me mate, so don’t blame anything on, and don’t have a fit. So stuff of” I said back,

“WHAT is going on here”! Yelled the principal Mr Jones.

“He walked into me”, Matt told him, Once again for the second time this morning he butted in before I could talk, he did it in first period too.

“ No, sir, I didn’t walk into him, he walked into me,” I said when I had my chance,

“Both of you, My office next period!” As Mr Jones walked away.

“Stuff you” I said to Matt

“Oh well,”replied Matt, as he punched me hard in the forearm!

“OUCH!, What was that for”? I asked, Matt didn’t answer, he just kept walking.It was nearly period 2 and Matt and I have to go to Mr Jones’s office, which I was told, wasn’t a good place to be.

“Welcome, you two bad boys” Mr Jones said really creepily.

“Can I please go to the bathroom please sir”? I asked

“No! you two know why you're in here talking to me” he said very slowly.

“:Okay then bossy butt” said Matt.

“MATT” yelled Mr Jones, “Don’t call me that, you know have 60 minutes of service instead of 30 minutes.

I snickered under my breath as Matt had gotten into trouble again.

“Max you can leave now, you have a warning since you are new to this school” said Mr Jones as soon as I was walking out the door.

In my first period I had to find the art class because this was my favorite subject and the teacher is Mrs Caroline, she is from France and is really good at art so she is my art teacher.

As I was walking to Art class I ran into Matt again, but this time he wasn’t mean or anything like that he just said

“Hey Matt sorry about before, I was wrong I shouldn't of said that about you and do you want to be friends? Matt had all of a sudden started to be nice like a bully at my old school, I didn’t know what was happening then but now I know. I was walking into Art class i spotted a really cute girl that is like blonde hair with red eyes, which mean she is like me a Vampire, because I have Blonde hair and Red eyes, I went down to sit next to her when I noticed something really strange, she hadn’t been bitted yet, so now was my chance to get her find out her name and then bit her for her to become a Vampire and stay with me forever for at least five thousand years. Eventually I found her in the courtyard sitting alone on a bench eating what looks like some lollies, I ran over to her and sat down next to her. She had recognized me from art class.

“Hey aren't you Max from art class?” she asked. I hadn't answered her until after a long ten seconds.

“Well yeah, but I haven't got  your name yet?, What is your name?

“Well I’m Charlie Jones” I’m Mr Jones’s daughter, My mum is a vampire that was like your dad, but my mother had told me that your father had been slain and killed, I’m very sorry to hear that news” Said Charlie. I wasn’t listening but all I was do was staring at her beautiful eyes, she had the reddest eyes ever!

I saw Charlie out in town that afternoon I said hi and then she looked at me weirdly, then I noticed that she was walking over to, and then she took me behind aisle wall that she has made which was very impressive., anyway she took me in and then she said, “Bite Me Please I like you!” I was thinking in my head, What do I do??

“Max! Are you listening?” whispered Charlie,

“yeah yeah I’m listening but I don’t think it is a good idea to bite you though” I say back

“Yes I don’t care if my dad knows, I won’t tell a single living soul” says Charlie, I make a run for it, she ran after me around the town which is very big, Charlie was a fast runner and was catching up to me very quickly, thanks to god I know parkour and then went up on the high school roof that i the highest roof. Then at that notice Charlie was already there staring at my, so I did what she wanted, I bite her neck. I told her that she has less than 24 hours until she is 104 years old and dead but can be seen and can be heard.

I was lying in bed that night with Charlie lying beside me in another house, I was thinking what happens if she get out of control, I’ll have to kill her and I didn't want to do that to her, I love her and she likes me, I was thinking of asking her out tomorrow. The next day I didn’t see Charlie walking to school, which was really strange, but her dad was killed last night by another vampire that was very close with my dad, he had been told by our master to kill him at midnight last night, I was getting a feeling in my stomach that she had told her mum. That day Charlie had turned up to school at 12pm during lunch I spotted he and walked over to her, and then I told her” I was thinking about you last night, would you like to come and see a movie with me tomorrow??” after I asked her it was a very long awkward silence

NPS Student Led Conferences

We have a presentation called NPS Student Led Conferences, and this is when we have to fill in 11 or 12 slides in our google slides for a parent interview tonight.The Student Led Conferences is when our parents come in to to see your learning and fill in some comments and also we have to show our parents our school reports as well with our led conferences! So tonight I hope my Mum and Dad enjoy my learning and enjoy my student led conference!!

Ngatea Athletics

On Monday, last week Ngatea Primary School had there Athletics day. All students 8 years and older competed and the the younger kids did there own little athletics thing. We all had to participate in every event. I came second in the 800m and second in the 200m and today we are finishing of the high jump.The events I had made it into Hauriki Plains was

• 800m
• 1500m

Next Monday there will be Hauraki Plains 

Silver Ferns vs Australian Diamonds

Last night was really cool, because it was the Silver Ferns up against the Australian Diamonds for netball, the first quarter was very well played but by the third quarter the Silver Ferns and the Diamonds were at 46 all and then the last 5 seconds of the last quarter the Diamond started to pull away from the Silver Ferns and made the score by the end, 51- 47 to Australia, so that means Australia had won against the Silver Ferns, in Auckland at the Trusts Arena, where all the track and field and athletics place, my experience was really cool, the netballers were really close! It was awesome!!

Week 10 Term 3 Reflecton

This week, was so cool, because for year 7 & 8 marimbas we are trying to learn a new song that is really complicated!! Gymnastics was amazing, because on Wednesday, Black Sticks, my P.E group, did some flips and tricks that involves your whole body. I did a flip of a mini tramp and landed it on the big orange puffy mats and then Miss Coles moved the mini trampoline and replaced it with the springboard and tried some tricks, but it didn't work so we got the mini tramp back and that helped a lot!!, so with the tramp we jumped on the tramp and did a handspring of the vault onto the mats. I also have nearly got another milestone to add to my last 3 milestones!! I'm so HAPPY!!!!!! Plus it is the last day of term 3 today, YAY!!

Music, Term 3 2014

Music was fun this term, but my mate Rachel and I started to do a song but then it didn't like it and so we changed it to Geronimo, sung by Sheppard the Australian band. We had to get the notes of the internet, but Rachel could read notes so she could read the piano notes. We haven't finished yet, because we have only learn't the end parts to it, we have only finished the starting, which is pretty poor. We have the last Wednesday, which it today to finish and preforme it to our group next term, which is term 4. We made our first two songs up, but then we changed to Love you like a love song, by Selena Gomez, but then I couldn't remember my notes so we just changed to Geronimo, but we had a argument over Geronimo, because Rachel didn't want to do the song Geronimo, but I begged and begged!! When we did our first song, Rachel and I had to do some Music by ear, which means we listen, for some cool notes and then put them together!! It was AWESOME!!!!

Week 8 Term 3 Reflection
